Update: Crews have now contained the fire at Premier Lumber company to the rear of the property. Officials say there is sawdust in a dumpster and this is where the fire is located. There is still smoke in the building. The fire has now been ruled accidental. No cause has been determined yet.
Virginia Beach, Va. – Crews are now working to put out a fire in a dumpster at the Premier Lumber company on Viking Drive near Lynnhaven Parkway.
No injuries have been reported.
Officials say there is sawdust in a dumpster which is where the fire is located. They have not determined a cause yet.
A firefighter working in the FEMA building next to the company saw the flames and called for help.
Crews say flames are coming from the back of the building right now.
