A 50-year-old Suffolk man was killed after crashing his motorcycle in the 3300 block of Indian Creek Road on Sunday evening.
According to Virginia Beach Police, Eric Anthony Ward was traveling southbound on the road on his 2013 Suzuki Boulevard motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the road.
The bike traveled approximately 160 feet before overturning and throwing Ward from it.
Ward was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Speed and alcohol are considered factors in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
