Hampton, Va. – On Tuesday morning, the fire department detonated a suspicious package near Longhorn Steakhouse off of Mercury Blvd.
The package was found off of Mercury Boulevard between Aberdeen Road and Power Plant Parkway at around 9 a.m.
Those roads were shut down but are now back open.
Officials determined the cardboard box was filled with clothes and other household items.
