Body of second missing student has been identified

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – A body recovered in the Appomattox River on Wednesday, April 24, has been identified as that of Jauwan M. Holmes, 19, police said.

Holmes was one of two Virginia State University students reported missing on April 20, 2013. The body of Marvell Edmondson, 19, was recovered from the river on Monday, April 22.
