Northampton Co., Va. – Three men have been arrested in Northampton County in the death of Jessie Leon Jordan, according to Northampton County Sheriff’s officials.
On Friday, April 26, at approximately 4 a.m., officers from the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office, Accomack County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, FBI, and DEA arrested the following people in connection with the April 13, 2013 death of Jessie Leon Jordan:
30-year-old Devon Thomas Blake, of Tasley, Virginia. Blake is charged with Malicious Assault by Mob with Intent to Maim, Disfigure, or Kill and second degree murder.
25-year-old Durell Marion Fitchett, of Tasley, Virginia. Durell Fitchett is charged with Malicious Assault by Mob with Intent to Maim, Disfigure, or Kill.
29-year-old Deleon Kinte Fitchett, of Tasley, Virginia. Deleon Fitchett is charged with Malicious Assault by Mob with Intent to Maim, Disfigure, or Kill.
All three of these men are being held at the Eastern Shore Regional Jail with bond denied, according to Sheriff David L. Doughty, Jr. of Northampton County.
Sheriff’s officials say the incident happened at a party several weeks ago.
On April 13, 2013 at 2:04 a.m. the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office responded to A&E Auto Repair located at 8131 Sylvan Scene Drive in Machipongo, for a report of a shooting victim.
Officers who responded to the scene say one person had been transported by private vehicle to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. When deputies arrived at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, they found 23-year-old Jessie Leon Jordan of Cheriton was deceased.
According to Northampton County Sheriff David L. Doughty, Jr., the incident happened during a party and is being investigated as a homicide. Sheriff Doughty says anyone with more information should contact Northampton County Sheriff’s Office at 757-678-0458.
