Newport News, Va. – A 22-year-old was found shot in the hallway of a boarding house on Chestnut Avenue just off of 16th street early Tuesday morning.
Police say Raymond Isaiah Seawright of Newport News was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:15am.
Seawright did not reside at the boarding house. The homicide is the city's sixth of the year.
