Accused fake bearded bandit pleads guilty to robberies

Ronald Wayne Carr, the man known as the fake bearded bandit pleaded guilty to 28-counts of robbery on Thursday.

Police arrested the 38-year-old back in January.

He wore a fake beard to rob several businesses on the peninsula between December of 2010 and November of last year.

He faces 20 years in prison for each charge and he's scheduled to be sentenced in September.
