Woman, child taken to hospital after Suffolk mobile home is damaged in fire

Suffolk, Va. – Two adults and four children have been displaced after crews say flames ripped through a mobile home on Nansemond Parkway in the Magnolia Lakes Trailer Park.

A woman and a 4-year-old were taken to the hospital for observation.

Crews say when they arrived on the scene at around 4:06 p.m. on Thursday, there was heavy fire on the right side of the mobile home.

Firefighters had the fire under control at 4:30 p.m.

No firefighters were injured.
