Newport News, Va. – A woman was injured after she fell 20 feet into an empty fuel tank on the LTC John U. D. Page, a bulk cargo ship, on Friday.
Crews got the emergency call at around 2:39 p.m.
The 52-year-old woman sustained non-life threatening injuries after falling about six decks below the main deck crews say.
No further information has been released about the woman’s condition.
