Norfolk, Va. - David Smith, the former pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church and School who was arrested in March for possession of child pornography, appeared in court on Tuesday.
Smith waived his preliminary hearing and will appear in court again for a plea hearing on July 17th.
His attorney says he is living with his family and working as a laborer since being released.
The attorney also says Smith plans to plead guilty. The 35-year-old had previously admitted to having the child pornography when police tried to search his Poquoson home in March.
