Ariel Castro was not in seclusion while he allegedly held women captive in his Cleveland home for 10 years.
He even appeared on our sister station WJW in Cleveland in 2003, playing bass and singing with a local band.
The much younger looking Castro smiled and appeared cheerful.
Based on the timeline of when the girls went missing, he would have reportedly had Amanda Berry and Michelle Knight captive at the house while he sang and played.
On Thursday after a judge set his bond at $8 million Castro was transferred to the Cuyahoga County Jail where he’s being held in the medical unit for suicide precaution.
