Hampton, Va. – Several people are now without a home after a fire destroyed a house in the Buckroe area of Hampton on Friday.
When crews got there, there was heavy smoke coming from the back of the home in an attached room. Crews were able to contain the fire to rear.
People were inside of the home but they were able to get out safely.
No one was injured and now the Red Cross is assisting those residents.
The cause is still under investigation.
