Suffolk, Va. – A Suffolk officer received minor injuries after he was involved in an accident on Thursday night.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Carolina Road and Fayette Street at around 8:06 p.m.
The officer was transported to the hospital with minor injuries to his arm. Witnesses on the scene say the other driver ran a red light.
