According to Virginia Lottery officials, although the Powerball jackpot winning tickets was not sold in Virginia, a ticket worth one million dollars was.
More than 210,000 Powerball tickets bought in Virginia won prizes in Saturday night's drawing, ranging from $4 to the ticket that won $1 million.
That million-dollar ticket was bought at Food Lion, 7760 Gunston Plaza in Lorton.
An additional 11 tickets in Virginia each won $10,000.
