Norfolk, Va. - A 3-year-old girl is now in the custody of Child Protective Services after police say she was found wandering alone on East Little Creek Road over the weekend.
It happened on Sunday, May 19. Police say around 8 p.m. the little girl was found by a citizen wandering in the 900 block of East Little Creek Road.
Crews then searched the area, looking for the child’s guardian. The parents were found Sunday night; Child Protective Services removed the child from the home, pending further investigation.
Police will charge the parents once the CPS investigation is complete, officials tell NewsChannel 3.
