Operation Blessing International, one of the largest humanitarian organizations in American and headquartered in Virginia Beach, is deploying to Moore, Oklahoma to assist in disaster relief efforts following Monday’s tornado.
An advance team was deployed from Granbury, Texas last night where they had been helping with tornado relief following last week’s storm there.
Bill Horan, president of OBI, departed Norfolk on Tuesday morning and will be meeting with local emergency relief officials and partner agencies to begin relief efforts.
A caravan of OBI emergency equipment and two tractor-trailer truckloads of food and supplies are also on their way to Moore.
