Nearly $40,000 in copper wire stolen from Dominion compound

Chesapeake, Va. – Police are looking for a person wanted for stealing nearly $40,000 worth of copper wire from a fenced in compound, officials tell NewsChannel 3.

Police say it happened some time between May 3 and May 6, 2013. The suspect removed close to $40,000 worth of copper wire from a fenced in compound owned by Dominion Virginia Power, located in the 500 block of Sign Pine Road.
