UPDATE: Accident cleared NB on US-17 at James River Bridge (Rte 17). There is currently a 2 mile back-up.
A multi-vehicle accident in the left lane of the James River Bridge is causing a 1.5 mile back-up.
US-17 southbound has been temporarily stopped to allow rescue vehicles to access the accident on the northbound side.
