Newport News, Va. - Newport News Police are looking for suspects wanted for shooting homes on 22nd Street and Oak Avenue on Monday night.
Police responded to the 1200 block of 22nd Street around 8:40 p.m. in response to calls of gunshots in the area.
Residents of five homes on 22nd Street and one additional home on Oak Avenue reported gunshot damage to their homes.
Witnesses reported seeing two unknown males with handguns walking eastbound on 22nd Street and began firing.
No one was injured and the intended target is unknown.
