Elizabeth City, N.C. – Power has been restored to about 1,000 customers in Elizabeth City Friday afternoon.
Officials say high winds caused a pine tree to fall onto power lines, causing the outages.
Power was out for about an hour and fifteen minutes, according to the Elizabeth City Electric Manager.
