Update: Second arrest made in Hampton homicide

Hampton, Va. - Police have made two arrests in the murder of a Hampton man.

Police arrested 29-year-old Andre Monroe of Hampton and  29-year-old Zachary Batts or Newport News.

Police say they're the men who shot and killed 29-year-old Terrell Owens on Tuesday, June 11.

Owens was found outside of Roy's Quick Serve on Shell Road with a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Monroe and Batts were both charged with one count of murder, one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and one count of possession of cocaine.

Monroe was additionally charged with one count of possession of cocaine.

They both remain incarcerated in the Hampton City Jail.
