Norfolk,Va. – A contractor hit a gas line that created a leak in Norfolk on Friday.
It happened just after 8:30 this morning on Beaumont Street.
Folks in a nearby home were told to leave as a precaution while crews worked on patching the leak.
We’re told Virginia Natural Gas crews now have things patched up and folks should be able to get back to their homes.
