Police say what was described as a “suspicious device” found inside a mailbox at a home, turned out to be a solar light.
Police, fire and the bomb squad responded to the home on Warren Drive near Mimosa Road in Portsmouth around 9:00am Saturday.
The bomb squad established a safety perimeter around the area while they were investigating.
No homes were evacuated.
