The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for Bertie County, Chowan County, Hertford County and Perquimans County until 10:00 pm.
At 9:29 pm Doppler radar indicated a tornado. This dangerous storm was located near Colerain, 11 miles southwest of Ryland and moving east at 25 mph.
