Some Independence Day celebrations are fizzling out this Fourth of July.
That's because some of the nation's military bases can't afford them.
Fort Bragg and Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, will not have fireworks this year.
Last year's July 4th celebration at Camp Lejeune cost $100,000.
This year, families will get to participate in some free activities, like bowling and skeet shooting in efforts to try and make up for the loss.
