Two suspects arrested in connection to Newport News double shooting

UPDATE: Police have now charged two people in connection to a double shooting and homicide on Forrest Drive. 

They've identified 19-year-old Da'Quan Montreal Lane and 19-year-old Allen Leon Kemp, III as the suspects. 

Both men have been charged with second degree murder, malicious wounding, robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Both are in jail with no bond. 

Newport News, Va. -One of two teens shot Monday on Forrest Drive has died.

Newport News Police say 17-year-old JerMichael Terrell Hundley was pronounced deceased around 4:30 a.m. Thursday of a gunshot wound to the head.

Hundley was found in the driver's seat of a black SUV in the parking lot of the Woodlands at Oyster Point.

The other 17-year-old found in the vehicle remains in critical condition.

The preliminary investigation has produced no suspect information.

Police are still searching for suspects.
