Elizabeth City, N.C. – Elizabeth City police need help to find a man who they say robbed someone at gunpoint.
Victims told police that they got a call from a friend who needed a ride and they went to Franklin Street to pick him up. They say as the friend got into the car, a man came up to the vehicle on the driver’s side with a shotgun and demanded money.
Police say once the suspect got the money from the driver, he ran away on foot. The victims drove back to North Road Street and then alerted police.
