Ex-Marine indicted in slaying of former Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle

A grand jury in North Texas has indicted the man accused of killing former Navy SEAL and “American Sniper” author Chris Kyle and another man on two charges of capital murder.

Former Marine Eddie Routh was arrested in the slayings of Kyle and Chad Littlefield in February.

Police said Routh confessed to his sister and he arrested driving Kyle’s pickup after a chase in Lancaster, a Dallas suburb, according to

Routh had sought treatment at the Veterans Administration for his stress, and friends said Kyle was trying to counsel him when Routh turned on him.

Routh has been held on a $3 million bond.
