Richmond, Va. – People who want to conduct voter registration drives now have a new resource for certification.
The Virginia State Board of Electors has created an online training program.
In order to get more than 25 voter registration applications, citizens need to receive SBE-certified training. The online portal allows citizens to train without having to physically attend official sessions.
The online training takes about 30 minutes, and a certificate is provided for the trainee to print.
The training is also open to those who simply want to learn more about voter registration in Virginia.
In-person training will still take place at the SBE offices on 1100 Bank St. in Richmond. Citizens can also get training materials at local voter registration offices.
