Portsmouth,  Va. – Portsmouth police need your help to find a fugitive who was charged in a deadly shooting in 2005.

Police say 26-year-old Jason Christopher McCoy failed to appear in Portsmouth Circuit Court on Monday morning on the murder charge and is now considered a fugitive.

He is one of three people indicted in the shooting death of Terrace Wilson. The other two men, Jamar Devon Riddick and Terry Termaine Bullock, have already been convicted.

Police say Wilson was in his vehicle on Rodman Ave. when three men approached him wearing masks in a robbery attempt. Before Wilson was able to get away, he was shot and killed.

Police say McCoy is now also wanted on contempt of court and failing to appear. They say he has connections in several Hampton Roads cities and is also known to frequent Charlotte, N.C.

If you know where he is, call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
