Portsmouth, Va. – Police are looking for two suspects who they say broke into a car on Queen Street in Portsmouth and stole several credit cards.
They say the suspects smashed through the passenger side window of a 2006 Toyota and took the victim’s purse that contained the credit cards and other personal items.
Police say the suspects were caught on camera using the stolen credit cards at JC Penney inside of Chesapeake Square Mall less than an hour later.
The suspects used the credit cards to make several other purchases in the mall totaling $1, 100.00 police say.
