Update: The victims have been identified as 74-year-old Mildred F. Baldwin and her son-in-law 53-year-old Marvin J. Bowen. Investigators say they have learned Bowen may have been suffering from mental health problems.
York County, Va. - The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office says a death investigation is underway after two bodies were found in the driveway of a York County home on Thursday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office says they received a phone call reporting the bodies of a male and female were found in the 100 block of Runaway Lane around 2:09 p.m.
According to authorities, the deaths appear to be a possible murder-suicide. They say it appears the man shot the woman and then turned the gun on himself.
Officials say they believe the two are related.
