The Freeman Family

Today News 3 is proud to honor three siblings.
We begin with Petty Officer Second Class Phillip Freeman.
He joined the Navy in 1991 as a Boats Mate.
He served in the Persian Gulf War.
Petty Officer Second Class Freeman retired in April 2011 as a Navy Cook after 20 years of service.

Staff Sergeant Paul Freeman.
He joined the Marines in 1988 as an armor.
He served in the Persian Gulf War.
Staff Sergeant Freeman served as a Marine for four years, then decided to join the Army.
He served two tours in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan as a medic
He retired in April 2012 as an Army Medic after 22 years of service.

The third member of the Freeman family is Master Sergeant Leisa Freeman Lewis.
She joined the National Guard in 1986, then the Army in 1989 as a Human Resource Specialist.  She retired in April 2013 as an Assistant Army Inspector General at the Pentagon after 24 years of service.
