Akron, Oh. – All eyes were on Tiger Woods as the golfer led big parring 16 holes in an even-par 70 Sunday. He went on to clinch a seven shot victory at the Bridgestone Invitational. It’s his eighth win at the event. He matches the PGA Tour record he already shared for victories at Bridgestone.
With the win, Tiger claims his 79th career PGA victory making him just three away from Virginia legend Sam Snead. The win was special for another reason, as the golfer’s son was there to witness his father win for the first time.
