Chesapeake, Va. – Two lanes of Route 58 eastbound were closed for several hours for a crash Friday afternoon during rush hour.
Chesapeake police responded just after 3 p.m. to Route 58, at the border of Suffolk.
Two vehicles were traveling east on the highway when the accident happened.
Police say medics transported two occupants of one vehicle to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with unknown injuries.
All lanes were finally reopened around 8:30 p.m.
The crash is currently under investigation.
