Today we honor Petty Officer Third Class Ian Crooks.
He's stationed in Goose Creek, South Carolina -- his first duty station.
He's an Electronics Nuclear Technician.
He enlisted in January of 2011 and was sworn in by his step-father -- a retired Chief Warrant Officer in the US Army.
Ian and his wife Morgan are expecting their first child in November.
