Norfolk, VA - On Saturday, The Beekeepers Guild of Southwest Virginia and Norfolk Botanical Gardens put on a fun day with bee products, activities, venders and safety information.
The festival kicked off with a bee costume parade at 11:00 am.
Children who came dressed as bees were given a free honey stick.
Bee plants were also available for purchase and classes were given on how to raise bees safely.
Over 2,000 people attended and over 340 lbs. of honey was sold.
