Norfolk, Virginia - Norfolk police say a man was shot in the 1500 block of Manson Street shortly before 3:00pm Saturday.
There was a birthday party for a two-year-old going on at the time of the shooting, just two doors down. The grandfather of the toddler says there was another shooting in that area within the past month.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At this time, police have not released suspect or motive information.
The incident remains under investigation.
