Two girls in Norfolk were hospitalized Sunday after being struck by a glass bottle thrown during a dispute.
Norfolk Police received a call at 7:20 p.m. saying the girls had been injured in the 2300 block of Barre Street.
Police say people in two different homes on Barre Street were fighting when 35-year-old Markiya Shanelle Todd threw a broken glass bottle into a group and the girls were hit.
Both girls were cut and underwent surgery at Sentara Norfolk General.
Todd was arrested and charged with two counts of malicious wounding.
