Norfolk, Va. - Police are investigating a crash at Brambleton and Park Avenues in Norfolk where an elderly man was struck by a car around 8:22am.
The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries. Police say the driver remained at the scene near Norfolk State University.
A worker at a nearby 7-11 says she saw the accident and tried to help them man, who she says is a regular customer and crosses Brambleton every day after stopping at the store.
