Southampton Co., Va. – Sheriff’s officials have arrested and charged a man with heroin distribution and probation violation in Southampton County.
On Thursday, August 29, 2013 Southampton County Sheriff’s officials arrested 37-year-old Cecil Ennis at a home on Askew Street.
Ennis was wanted on two counts of probation violation and one count of heroin distribution.
During the arrest, Sheriff’s officials executed a search warrant and seized a substantial amount of heroin, a firearm, and various other items indicative of drug distribution.
Ennis is currently being held in the Southampton County Jail with no bond.
Additional charges are pending, according to Detective Scott Griffith.
