Roanoke Island, NC – Dare County law enforcement officials are looking for a suspect after a person was shot on Roanoke Island.
It happened at approximately 10:05 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2013.
Dare County Sheriff’s deputies as well as police from Manteo and Nags Head responded to reports of shots fired on Woodley Avenue in Roanoke Island.
When crews arrived, they found a shooting victim. The victim was then ground transported, treated, and released from the Outer Banks Hospital.
Investigators were dispatched to the scene for processing of evidence, and further investigation.
