Hampton Police have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with multiple burglary investigations which occurred August 14th – September 12th.
Detectives say they were on patrol on September 12th in the 1200 block of North King Street when they observed a suspicious person matching suspect descriptions from previous burglaries.
The person fled when detectives attempted to make contact but he was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.
Matthew Alexander Rodriguez has been charged with four counts of burglary and four counts of grand larceny.
