FARMVILLE, Va. – Authorities are investigating a shooting that happened near Longwood University Sunday evening, according to a report from WTVR.com.
Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of High Street around 8 p.m. after they received a 911 call. Officials said Jacob E. Richardson, a 22-year-old Longwood student, was showing a friend his gun when it discharged.
