Hampton, Va.-Pull out your tickets and check your numbers! Somewhere there is a winning ticket worth $1 million from the September 17th Mega Millions drawing! The ticket was purchased at Race Coast Mart on 1404 East Pembroke Avenue in Hampton.
The winning numbers for that drawing were 6-15-27-31-39 and the Mega Ball number was 25. This winning ticket matched the first five numbers and missed only the Mega Ball number. Typically, that would win $250,000 but whoever bought this ticket spent an extra dollar to get Megaplier, which increased the prize to $1 million.
The jackpot now stands at an estimated $145 million for Friday’s drawings since no ticket matched all six numbers in the September 17th drawing. Be advised, the jackpot for tonight’s (9/18/13) Powerball drawing is an estimated $400 million.
