Portsmouth, Va. – A woman has been charged with reckless driving after a crash Wednesday afternoon in Portsmouth, police tell NewsChannel 3.
It happened at the intersection of High Street and Western Branch Boulevard. The call came in at 1:48 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013.
A gold four-door vehicle was traveling east on High Street. Police say the vehicle crossed over two medians and hit a parked Kia that was unoccupied.
The driver of the Kia was next door.
During impact, the gold vehicle went on top of the Kia, police say.
The driver of the gold vehicle, a 68-year-old woman, has been charged with reckless driving.
The driver suffered a minor injury to her finger.
