Teen wanted in Hampton shooting investigation

Hampton, Va. – Hampton police are searching for an 18-year-old wanted in connection with a shooting that happened back in July.

It happened on July 28, 2013 in the 1500 block of East Pembroke Avenue.

At 11:38 p.m., Hampton Communications received a 911 call in reference to a shooting victim at the McDonald’s parking lot
located in the 1500 block of East Pembroke Avenue.

When police arrived, they found a 14-year-old Hampton boy, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his foot. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and has since been released.

Police say the victim and the suspect, who knew each other, got into a physical altercation in the area of Pembroke Avenue and Grimes Road. The altercation escalated, a firearm was brandished, and the victim was shot.

The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Antonio Louis Pittman of Hampton, with a last known address in the 2000 block of Rawood Drive. He currently has warrants on file for one count of Maiming, and one count of Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.
