Newport News Police are looking for several suspects after a robbery that occurred Thursday night in the 4300 block of Merlyn Walk Place.

Police say four victims — two adult women, one adult man and one juvenile male, were in their home when several unknown men pushed their way inside through the front door.

The men forced the adults to the floor at gunpoint and covered their heads with blankets.

The men demanded money and jewelry and threatened to harm the child if the adults did not cooperate.

Several suspects held the victims at gunpoint while the others searched the home taking cell phones, an iPad, cash and a set of keys.

One of the female victims, a 60-year-old, was struck in the head with a gun, but no medical treatment was required.

Because the victims were face down and covered, they are unsure of the number of suspects.

The suspects wore black clothing with collars or hoods covering their faces.  The suspects also had black gloves on.  They fled in an unknown direction. One suspect had on white sneakers or shoes and the other suspect was wearing black sneakers or shoes.
