Tropical Storm Jerry forms far out in the Atlantic

Tropical Storm Jerry has formed far out in the Atlantic Ocean.

Jerry has maximum sustained winds of 40 mph. The storm is about 1200 miles East-SouthEast of Bermuda and 1325 miles West-Southwest of the Azores.

Jerry is moving toward the east near 7 mph and a slow and erratic motion is expected over the next couple of days, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Tropical storm-force winds extend up to 45 miles from the center of the storm.
