Virginia Beach, Va. - One employee was taken to the hospital after a HAZMAT incident at a Kroger in Virginia Beach on Tuesday night.
Police say this happened at the store on 3330 Virginia Beach Blvd.
Calls came in about the incident at 9:49 p.m.
Police say chemicals were inadvertently mixed together and one employee was injured. The store was also evacuated. Two other employees were evaluated on the scene.
They say the worker's injuries do not appear to be life threatening, but the employee has not been fully evaluated yet.
